We Look Forward To Meeting You!
Welcome to Peace Lutheran Church. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time. The best way to stay informed is to sign up for our weekly e-news!
Atmosphere
It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. Following the great sweep of the Biblical story, from Creation through the early Church, through the readings in the Revised Common Lectionary. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.
Family Friendly
No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Peace Lutheran Church and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve the whole family. Here's what you can expect from worship:
We worship…
Sunday - The time alternates monthly.
Odd months worship is at 8am (January, March, May, July, September, November)
Even months worship is at 10am (February, April, June, August, October, December)
We celebrate Communion…
Everyone’s welcome at the Communion table, no exceptions. We offer communion instruction to children in 2nd grade (or at any age at parents’ request).
We love kids…
We encourage families to worship together. Children will be invited up for a special Children's Message during worship service.
We know that kids like to wiggle and move, and sometimes there’s a little noise…we consider this a sign of God’s lively presence and it’s part of who we are! Parents, if you need a little time out during worship with your tiny ones, we have a playroom with rocking chairs. You will still be part of the worship service as you can hear the sermon and see the sanctuary.
We enjoy being together…
so we hope you will stay to enjoy a time of fellowship and treats after worship!
We love to make a joyful noise to the Lord…
We welcomed Savannah this year as our wonderful pianist. We are looking for more talented musicians to join the music team. Please reach out if you are interested in joining!
We Learn and grow together
Here at Peace Lutheran Church, we place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond the Sunday worship service where members have a chance to grow, serve, enjoy fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a Church family that lives out their faith together.
